My name is Kelli and I'm the owner of "Scrapbook Queen Getaways. "I've been Scrapbooking for over 23 years, and it's definitely become my passion in life. I have met so many talented and wonderful women through scrapbooking at Local Scrapbook Stores and by attending Crops, Getaways, & Scrapbook Conventions. I know my favorite kind of scrapbooking get together has always been "Getaway Weekends". With all the rushing around we do on a daily basis in our lives,  it's hard to get  those scrapbook pages completed. But when you get the opportunity to escape the everyday distractions in life to scrapbook non-stop while enjoying the company of others... learning new techniques...sharing ideas... eating great food... shopping your heart out ...and having tons of fun, who could possibly resist!(I know I can't!) ​I loved attending scrapbooking events but found the quality of some of the events to be quite disappointing. Details such as Cropping Space, Accommodations, Food, Activities and How Far I need to travel to even attend an event are all very important to me. When I started thinking about creating my own Scrapbook Getaway Company, I took all those things into consideration. After alot of planning and help from family and friends, Scrapbook Queen  Getaways held  their first scrapbooking event in Fall 2002.

Scrapbooking has created lots of amazing opportunities for me throughout the years. I got to teach Scrapbook Classes at both my Local Scrapbook Store & Conventions. My pages were featured in several Scrapbook Magazines. I designed for major Scrapbook Companies. My husband & I even traveled to assist Scrapbook Companies at Trade Shows demonstrating their products. I launched my own Scrapbook Page Kit Business as a result of all of the above and have designed & sold thousands of Page Kits throughout the years. Scrapbookers loved being able to purchase my precut ready to assemble layouts that were copies of my pages featured in Magazines, taught in Classes, or simply created around Popular Themes.

Fast forward 20 years later... we announced our latest & most exciting venture. We would be opening a Shoppe in Poland,OH called "Baking Up Memories" which will not only feature my Signature Sweets n Treats & Custom Printed Cookies (My newest hobby!), but also Scrapbooking, Paper Crafting, and Memory Making Classes & Events. I feel like the past 20+ years prepared us for this moment. We are so excited and feel incredibly blessed to have this opportunity.  My husband Mark and I reside in Austintown, Ohio.  After 15 years of marriage we were blessed with our beautiful daughter Emma who is now 15. We also have an Adorable Labradoodle named Abbey. Prior to retiring, I was in healthcare for 30 years as a Respiratory Therapist who specialized  in Sleep Studies at a local hospital. I enjoy Scrapbooking(of course!), Decorating Cookies (Kind of like Paper Piecing but with Food!), Traveling, and Spending Time with my family who make me smile everyday.  Looking back, I often laugh when I  think how 22 years ago my very supportive husband  told me to "Get A Hobby".  Little did he know what he was in for. It was great advice and a few months later his "Scrapbook Queen" was created!
